Meant To Be
Meant To Be
From the moment I looked into your eyes
I knew that things were meant to be.
It's as if all of the hurt from the past no longer existed,
I knew that this was where I belonged.
It was as though our hearts became one,
All this without as much as a word spoken.
I have never felt so safe and secure,
I knew from that moment that I would never hurt again.
The way I felt when you held me for the first time,
Nothing has or will ever compare.
You are the belief to all my doubts,
And the fulfillment to all my dreams.
Deep in my soul I knew that we were meant to be,
And now I can't imagine my life without you.
