Burdens

Lay your burdens down to me,
Lay me down by the moonlight and the sea.
I have often walked nights alone with the owl and hoot.
Water has slipped up under my feet.
I have loved you,
Ever since you layed your burdens down.
Loved you since we were one.
Without you,
I will not go on.

My Ladder

When I climb the ladder,
I will not fall.
I will stand tall,
Even through trials in life.
My ladder is my Lord.

Let Freedom Fly

Lying of the heart.
Speaker of the mind.
Love is not blind,
But a broken heart to see.
Beauty within a spirit child.
Opening her hands to the word.
A sparrow of a lonely life.
Let freedom fly.

Neon Star

Neon star,
Pray for me again.
Walk with me into the Heavens,
Where there is no pain or end.
I once had a falling star.
A lover to call my own.
But when his love died,
Rainbows turned to a neon star,
Never to own.
A hour of a lonely stranger.
Stars of passion.
Dancer of joy.
A dark night of silence,
I drift.

Love's Child Of A Rose

Love of a rose.
Love so deep to cut the thorn.
Water drops of rain.
Nature to gain,
Love's beauty.
Sweet rose.
Love again for life.
Precious child feel the stream.
The call again.
Life is extreme.
The rose is beautiful with the child's hand of caress.
