Living Ties
I used to sit around the house all day
Thinking of what you used to say.
I thought I needed you here to make me happy,
But then realized that's how it's gotta be.
There's a little girl here who looks like you.
The trouble is, she looks like me too.
She crawled her way into your heart,
But you still make it look easy to stay apart.
My little angel, she misses you.
And anymore, I miss you too.
So just come back and we'll start a life
As man, daughter, and faithful wife
