ODE
TO MY LOVE
I NEED YOU, DO YOU NEED ME?
JOLLY OLD MAN, NAMED SANTA
ODE
TO MY LOVE
The moment I saw you, I knew you
would be mine. The smile on your
face was gentle and kind. Your
voice was caring as you spoke to
me. I needed you, you me.
The years have passed, true love
is still there. We're only closer,
in all that we share. Each day
brings a venture, as we grow old.
Desiring to have and to hold.
The love that we've shared, has
lasted for years. You have com-
forted me, through many fears.
You've never forsaken or turned
me away. You were with me
every day.
I'll love you darling, until the end.
Our marriage was blessed when
it began. I'll face morrows, as
they begin, for you'll be there
until then.

I NEED YOU, DO YOU NEED ME?
I saw you setting with your head
hung down, no evidence of a
smile, only a frown. Just a small
child there all alone, needing
love and an adoption home.
When you looked up and saw
me. I needed you, you me. I
asked your name, you gave me
a grin. Said, "they call me Jim",
that's the name given when I
came in.
How long you been here, I
asked? All my life, I guess.
I have no mother or father, you
see. I'm all alone, no one will
adopt me. I need you, do you
need me?
JOLLY OLD MAN, NAMED SANTA
The little old man was jolly and free,
he winked at me for all to see. His
long gray beard glistened like stars.
His big blue eyes, could be see afar.
I ask his name, as a child will do.
Curious to feel that gray beard too.
His stomach was big and shook
when he laughed. He giggled at
all the kids that passed.
He had a red suit, that stood out.
It looked kind of funny there's no
doubt. His hat was floppy and got
in his eyes. I asked his name and
got a surprise.
He said, "I'm Santa", from the
North Pole. I'll see you Christmas,
with gifts for all.
