"And If"
"And If"
If
happiness could speak,
It would fill the room with laughter.
If joy had a face,
It would stream sunshine from our smiles.
If laughter could see,
It would paint rainbows in our eyes,
If pleasure was of nature,
It would be an open meadow.
If exhilaration was of water,
It would be a swelling ocean,
And if a simple smile’s worth was measured,
It would leave all penniless.
These are the sounds of true joy,
Experienced only by the pure of heart.
Happiness is the silver lining in a
World of darkened skies.
