Friendship is like a flower, Lie
Friendship is like a flower,
Glowing in its glory
Each and every seed,
Telling its own story.
As each flower blooms
and than continues to grow
more of it's strength and knowledge
continues to show.
And like a garden
it blooms much more fair
when carefully tended
by those who care.
Once in a while
you come across a friend
who is beautiful as a flower
with a good heart to lend.
So I picked up this flower
and pulled it apart
and soon all its pieces
grew into my heart.
But what I realized
is that this flower grew
was not leaves and petals
but pieces of you.
Your love and kindness
your strength and power
has helped me grow
into my own little flower.
And now with our friendship
I'll never let go
and we can help others
to flower and grow.
"Lie"
To me you are nothing.
To me you are not alive.
Perhaps you would mean more to me,
If you had not of lied.
I like you when we met,
And as the days passed by,
I eventually fell in love with you.
But than you had to lie.
You told me that you liked me,
That you were a caring guy.
You told me I could trust you,
But all that was a lie.
I knew it from the start,
And still don't get why,
I went along your plan,
This plan that was a lie.
And than we just stopped talking,
And I began to cry,
Even though all my tears
Were over your dumb lie.
But now, I've gotten over you,
I've found another guy,
And you have taught me one thing:
"Beware of boys that lie."
