Hypothetically Speaking
Never so much love,
never so much hate,
have I ever felt before.
He brings out the best,
the worst all at once.
Knows me better than I know myself,
yet he knows me not.
Helps me grow,
tears me down.
Does as he pleases,
keeping me enslaved to his will.
My time is spent yearning for his unneeded approval necessary to my
heart,
ludicrous by my head.
My love is eternal for him,
my hate grows day by day.
Cupid's arrows touch me not,
for my love ascends above every earthly level.
I rise above the anger and hate.
Clarity has sought me out.
It whispers a secret to me:
'Soul mates'.
