"Alone in the Dark"
Unto the dying forces of light Whose
shadows surrender their darkened night. I pray thee live in morrow's
sight.
Without thee, I cry Where thy vibrant
rays do not fly. For my vitality dwells deep within thane eye.
Unto the falling flock of stars I
marvel upon thee from afar. Thy brightened beauty is so bizarre.
Without thee, I'm offbeat I am but the
mud beneath her cleat. For thou vanquishing, vivacious vibes were
elite.
Unto the merry music of the day I bow
to the melodic Mendelssohn she portrayed. Such splendor left me in jollity
of disarray.
Without thee, I'm lost Where sound does
not exhaust. For lacking her glorious glee does me great cost.
Unto the tired drought of time I
surrender to her exquisiteness like the drop of a dime. Devoid of her
my life is sour like a lime.
Without thee, I wither Where she is
not, I begin to dither. For this melancholy melts me into a downward
slither.
Unto the dying forces of light Whose
shadows surrender their darkened night. I pray thee live in morrow's
sight.
